Goodbye, Summer!!

What a way to end the Summer. Our pond Study has been so interesting. We encountered a lot of animals and insects that we could only see there. We have had a wonderful time learning and growing. As sad as we are to see the program end, we are so excited to start the new school year.

Pond Study

This month we are studying the pond habitat on our campus. We took a walk to learn safety by the water and to look for animals that live in and around the water. Our gym class was so much fun. The children learned how to play kickball. The concept of kick and run to first base was a little difficult but they tried so hard. We also made smoothies made frog art, worked with the STEM activities, and learned some new songs.

Summer is Fun!!

This week we met “Red” the goat, baked fruit pastries, played in the rain and jumped in puddles, watched a chemical reaction blow up a balloon, and made crafts for the fourth of July. We also learned about fruit. We discussed how it grows, where it grows, and what we make with it. (This week Kinsley and Roman had birthdays).
