September 21st is the ‘International Day of Peace’. On Friday, the school celebrated the event with a Peace Assembly. Primary students along with the Elementary hosted the event!!

Montessori classrooms are designed to encourage children’s natural curiosity and sense of wonder through active learning, hands-on materials, and freedom of movement.

Dr. Maria Montessori believed that interaction among children brought many positive benefits to the classrooms like an enriching environment, trust and comfort in their peers, development of leadership skills in students, and younger students looking up to the older students as role models.

Repetition is a fundamental part of the Montessori learning environment. The philosophy is designed to support learning through practice and repetition. Repetition helps children build on concepts, master and retain the materials they are working on and develop confidence. It also helps children refine their senses, focus, and differentiate between small variations in the world around them.
